18 days to the engagement

Woahh. Less than 20 days already *panic*

Tentang dulang. So, as planned, Encik Jay akan bawa 3 dulang, saya akan balas sebanyak 5 dulang. Majlis tunang ni kami plan buat as simple as possible. Tarikh kawin most probably still far, so kami tidak bagi barang-barang hantaran dulu. Ada satu majlis hantaran akan dibuat mungkin sebulan sebelum kahwin nanti.

Untuk majlis tunang ni kami cuma bagi manisan. 5 dulang yang aku bagi tu ialah:-

1. Kek (Kak Nani buat, my eldest sister)
2. Cupcake (order di Calendar Cupcake,16pcs only, InsyaAllah harini)
3. Buah (nanti di Sandakan baru beli)
4. Coklat (Kak lini, 4th sis, beli di Labuan, Ferrero Rocher)
5. Macarons (sudah order sebanyak 30pcs from Deidre in Sandakan)

The dulang at first Kak Lini suruh hantar saja orang buat, RM38/dulang. Which I think is expensive even though I can still afford tapi membazir (tidak mau jadi kawan syaitan ehe). So I thought, i want to do the dulang on my own. Lagi puas hati hasil kerja sendiri kan.

First and foremost, the dulang borrowed from Ona’s cousin, Amoi. Including the lapik. 4July haritu ambil di rumah Ona ;)

Tidak tahan menunggu hujung minggu, on Wednesday July 6th, aku pergi Leton, Segama. Beli bunga, gabus, 1 set, untuk try untuk 1 dulang sahaja dulu. And it turns out to be like this

The next day, (Thursday July 7th)  petang selepas shooting, oleh kerana shoot dekat sahaja area Jesselton point, pergi semula ke Segama, beli bunga di Leton, gabus, ribbon and also a basket for the fruits.

Malam tu terus buat. Dan hasilnya lumayan juga. Puas hati dengan hasil tangan sendiri.The left one is for the cake, 100% completed. The right one is for the fruits, 67% completed.

Actually ada lagi 1 sudah siap juga, for the chocolate, hopefully I got the right size as my sister haven’t bought the chocolate so I am not really sure of the box size, I just do the dulang first (not in the picture)

In the meantime, the progress is slow, but still under schedule. Cause of a little bit delay is material, like gam UHU habis dan setiap kali pergi kedai lupa beli, dan masa. Yes, siang kerja, petang jog, huha huha hari sudah malam, perlu tidur untuk recharge tenaga.

Targeted to be finish by  July 22nd, before Aizat’s mini concert. *crossed finger*

Anyway, below are my work station picture. So far perbelanjaan cuma approximately RM72. I think I just need around RM20 more to finish everything. See how much I save?
